GATE Chemistry Exam Pattern 2024
All the GATE Chemistry aspirants should aware of the Exam Pattern of GATE. The detailed exam pattern of GATE 2024 for Chemistry is as follows
The question paper will have a total of 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The questions will be of objective multiple choice Choice(MCQ). The exam is divided into two sections: general aptitude (GA) and chemistry. There are 10 questions in the General Aptitude section, and 55 questions in chemistry. There is a negative marking for wrong answers in both sections. For each wrong answer, a 1/3th mark will be deducted. The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
To Excell in the GATE chemistry exam, candidates should focus on both the GA and chemistry parts. In the GA part, they should brush up on their basic maths and reasoning skills. For the chemistry portion, they should revise all topics covered in their Postgraduate course. Detailed handwritten notes of all chemistry chapters are available here.
